Since 1994, my goal has been to provide excellent legal counsel to businesses, business owners, and individual clients in the Valparaiso, Portage, and Chesterton areas of Indiana. I believe in beginning with great customer service, and that’s what I provide for every client.

Truly friendly, helpful, and skillful service is something I learned from my family. After earning an accounting degree from Indiana University in 1979, I worked for 11 years in my family’s successful retail business, a $10 million-a-year enterprise. That experience gave me a ground-level understanding of day-to-day business operations and the legal complexities faced by business owners. It also provided me with invaluable insights into my clients and the people skills necessary to serve them well.

In my family’s retail business, I worked with hundreds of people—employees and customers—every day.
